The organization of the trip was very good, starting with the welcome on arrival at the airport in Hulhumale by Anke and Nazim. The onward journey to Gulhi by speedboat was generally good, although we personally found the sea conditions a bit difficult. The hotel, beach and food were good, friendly service staff and the wellness area is highly recommended. When we returned or continued our journey to Dhangethi, we were again greeted in a friendly manner at the stopover in Hulhumale and given competent directions. The hotel on Dhangethi was also good. Unfortunately, at the beginning we only had the option of choosing from two dishes each, as we were only a small group of guests. After more guests arrived at the hotel, there was a buffet. This was good. Unfortunately, there is only a small bikini beach on this island. This is a shame because the other beaches are also very beautiful, but due to religion, you are not allowed to use them in normal swimwear. Back on Hulhumale, we were unfortunately accommodated in a hotel that was very thinly soundproof. However, the tour guide cannot be blamed for this. It's also a shame that there isn't a single bikini beach on this island for swimming, which was a bit disappointing for us. We visited the island with the Hard Rock Cafe and Resort as a day trip. This was well organized and highly recommended (be sure to bring swimwear, as the Hard Rock Cafe restaurant also has its own beach for swimming, which can also be used by day guests).
